RISE pilot deployment of Microsoft 365 Copilot agents illustrates how agentic AI is transforming knowledge work. Over 180 users across RISE have been testing pre-built and custom AI agents to streamline reporting, research, and administrative workflows.

Two Key Agent Types

Pre-built Agents

  • Researcher Agent: Uses deep internet research to synthesize internal and public data for reports and landscape analyses
  • Analyst Agent: Assists everyone (without any coding experience) with advanced Python-based data analysis and visualisation

Custom Agents

Developed in Copilot Studio (or for developers Azure AI Foundry), these enable advanced task automation and tailored interactions, from managing project files to document analysis. One example is the creation by our certification unit, which develops automated review-flow for product certification.

Security and Integration

All agents operate within RISE M365 environment and integrate with platforms like PDP (RISE project documentation platform), ensuring information stays within RISE’s environment and information classification levels (K3).

Impact

The initiative demonstrates how AI can automate routine tasks while keeping humans firmly in control, freeing time for creativity, research, and innovation.
